Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants should be a citizen of India as per the notification. Other qualifications of job are as follows.

Age limits:

Candidates want to participate for these posts should be in between 18 years and 25 years of age, which will be reckoned as on date 1/1/2013. However, the candidates belonging to reserved class and ex servicemen category will get relaxation in upper age limits as per the rules set by the Institution.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates who want apply for the post of Sub Inspector in Punjab Police should hold Graduation Degree from recognized University/ Institute. Additionally, candidates must have passed Punjabi as a subject in the board examination of Matriculation.

Application fees:

Candidates applying for these posts have to pay application fee in the Axis Bank by using downloaded slip. General category candidates have to Rs. 500 while SC/ ST category candidates have to pay only Rs. 300/-

Application Procedure:

Punjab Police Recruitment cell has invited online applications from eligible candidates. Candidates have to visit official website http://recruitment-cdacmohali.in and follow the process of application. No other way of application is acceptable.

Selection procedure:

Physically fit female candidates having a height of 5.3” (Equal of Above) will be called for PET test. Successful candidates will be called for written test followed by Interview.
